The Driffield Agricultural Society are delighted to announce they will be hosting ‘A conversation with Stephen Sackur’ at the Driffield Showground in the Rix Pavilion on Friday, 14th April doors opening at 6.30pm.
Doors open at 6.30pm with drinks available from the bar ready for a start at 7.15pm.

Mr Sackur will be introduced by the Lady Chairman of the Society, Stephen is currently the presenter of HARDtalk, the BBC World’s News flagship current affairs programme, interviewing many prominent politicians from around the world including former US vice-president Al Gore, President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil, Shimon Peres and Mahmoud Abbas.
He has also interviewed leading cultural figures including Gore Vidal, Richard Dawkins, and Noam Chomsky.

Stephen will be followed by a light warm buffet with the opportunity to have a drink and chat to friends.
